The best months for golf on the Costa Blanca are between September and May. The courses are playable in the summer months but it is very hot and buggy hire is recommended. All the Golf courses in this area subscribe to the Slope Index system which means your handicap varies according to the difficulty of the course that you are playing. Handicap certificates are sometimes requested but this is rare.

Note: you cannot wear spikes in Spain, so please have them changed before playing.
